[ARCHIVED] Modification of Rail Crossing Arms

The 50 Avenue & 47 Avenue rail crossing arms (westbound only) are being moved to increase safety and align with CP’s safety protocols. According to CP’s regulations, the arms have to be a set distance from the center-line of the road. Unfortunately, that means the crossing arms will extend into the existing sidewalk area. The City of Wetaskiwin is working with CP to modify our sidewalk to accommodate our pedestrians. We ask for your patience until this is completed.
