[ARCHIVED] ATCO Franchise Agreement Extension

Wetaskiwin City Council extended the franchise agreement with ATCO gas for another 10 years at their regular Feb. 26 Council Meeting.

The ATCO franchise fee charged by the City has long been at 35%. ATCO also charges back a percentage to cover municipal taxes they are levied. This is approved by the Alberta Utilities Commission.
