[ARCHIVED] Crow & Magpie Control Program

Crow

The City of Wetaskiwin is continuing with the Crow & Magpie Control Program in the city's parks and public spaces. Excessive magpie and crow populations can cause a variety of problems due to the constant harassment and loud noise experienced. By keeping your trees pruned and pet food/litter picked up you can help keep these pests off your property.

All nests on public and private property that are accessible by bucket truck will be controlled (by which the nests are disturbed and then cleaned up).

This program will run until the end of May. If you have a nest on your property that you would like removed, please visit the Public Works Office at 4904 - 51 Street (you will need to fill out a permission form).

If you have any further questions please contact the Public Works Office at 780-361-4436.
