Due to the quick action of our firefighters, the blaze was confined to the downstairs kitchen area. At this point the precise nature of the damage, and a projected date when certain aspects of the the facility, including the washrooms (and other public affected by the fire) will be re-opened to the public is not known. Those with bookings at the community building have been notified and attempts are being made to re-locate their events. More information will be provided when we have it.
