Several City facilities will be closed on September 7
All facilities will re-open for regular business hours on September 8
Several City facilities will be closed to the public on Thursday, September 7, 2023, to allow for organization-wide participation in Employee Learning Day — held annually to facilitate learning opportunities and encourage cross-departmental communication amongst City personnel.
Public facilities closed on September 7:
- Wetaskiwin City Hall (4705 50 Avenue) will be closed for the day.
If you need to make a payment that day you can do so through your financial institution. - The Operations Facility (5520 50 Street) will be closed for the day.
- Co-op Place (4519 50 Avenue) will be closed for walk-ins, however, those with pre-booked rentals can still access the facility at the time of their booking.
Public facilities remaining open on September 7:
- The Manluk Centre: Wetaskiwin Regional Aquatics & Fitness (4514 50 Avenue) will remain open for regularly scheduled hours from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- The Wetaskiwin Sanitary Landfill (north of Peace Hills Park) will remain open for regularly scheduled hours from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- The Wetaskiwin Regional Airport office (6301 47 Avenue) will remain open for regularly scheduled hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
911 emergency service will still be available.
