Each year on June 12, we celebrate Philippine Independence Day with all of our Filipino neighbours. This year marks the 125th anniversary. If you haven’t been to the celebration, I highly recommend you do. The Filipino community is very warm and welcoming. You’ll be dancing, singing, and having a great time — and I guarantee you’ll never go home hungry!
