The City of Wetaskiwin, in partnership with Wetaskiwin FCSS and Alberta Red Cross, has set up an emergency cooling centre at the Wetaskiwin Memorial Arts Centre (5206 50 Street). This facility will be open the following dates and times for anyone needing to escape from the intense heat we are experiencing.
•    Wednesday, June 30 from 2 pm until 9 pm
•    Thursday, July 1 from 2 pm until 9 pm
•    Friday, July 2 from 2 pm until 9 pm

The City continues to encourage everyone to take precautions during this heatwave. Stay hydrated, limit time spent out of doors, and look out for each other. Please stay safe!
