The Open Door has committed to the development and operation of a 24/7 Integrated Response Hub within the City of Wetaskiwin. This program, that includes an emergency shelter, will be operated by The Open Door, and is planning on a November 2020 opening. The location for the shelter has not yet been announced. Two virtual Community Engagement Sessions will be held on Wednesday, September 30th and Thursday, October 1st, where The Open Door will provide an update on the development of the Wetaskiwin hub and discuss how you can be involved.
