Council Meeting Schedule

Did you know? All of Council's meetings (both the Committee of the Whole and the regular Council meetings) are open to the public. Those interested in attending can do so in-person or through a zoom link advertised online.

City Council Meeting Dates

Wetaskiwin City Council typically meets on the second (2nd) and fourth (4th) Monday of each month (except for July & August, where they meet only once on the third Monday) at 4:00 pm in Council Chambers at Wetaskiwin City Hall (4705 - 50 Avenue).

*Meeting dates and associated agendas are posted on the home page of the City’s official website on or before the Friday before each meeting. All Council meetings are open to the public. 

Presenting to City Council

If you would like to present to Wetaskiwin City Council, you can do one of two things:

Option 1: Open Mic
  • Five (5) minutes to speak
  • Speakers can register to speak just before current Council meeting begins
  • Topic of presentation cannot already be on the regular Council agenda
Option 2: Formal Presentation
  • Ten (10) minutes to speak
  • Speakers must register at least 14 days in advance of next Council meeting
  • Presentation will be included in the published Council meeting agenda
