Program Guide
The City of Wetaskiwin produces two program guides each year (Spring & Summer, Fall & Winter). These program guides showcase the many seasonal events and activities taking place in and around Wetaskiwin.

We will be mailing out the Wetaskiwin Program Guide again, though we have increased the ad rates in order to keep the document within budget while providing this service. The new rates can be found below. If you have any questions about the new ad rates, please contact Ren Goode at 780.361.4417 ext. 3.

Submitting Information in the Program Guide
All program guide submissions must be done online using our online registration form.

  • The deadline for Fall/Winter Program Guide submissions was July 13, 2018.

Ad Dimensions

The dimensions of the program guide are 8.5" x 11", and the ad dimension (and costs) are as follows:
  • 1/4 page ad  |  $150+GST  |  5" wide x 3.25" high
  • 1/2 page ad  |  $250+GST  |  7.75" wide x 4.825" high
  • Full page ad  |  $400+GST  |  7.75" wide x 10" high

Text-only entries of 60 words or less (per program) are free. If you wish to include a logo with your text entries, a fee of $50+GST will be charged. Text entries that are more than 60 words will automatically be edited for length.

*Note: The City of Wetasiwin will not be able to resize your ads. It is the responsibility of each organization to have their advertisements resized to the above dimensions before submitting them.

Program Guide Mandate
The Program Guide is a non-commercial publication that advertises educational, recreational, and personal wellness programs in and around Wetaskiwin. Businesses must promote a program, learning opportunity, and/or community service that falls within the above mandate. Event advertisement will only be accepted in a paid printed ad (please see ad dimensions and costs above).
