Wetaskiwin RCMP
Wetaskiwin hosts two detachments of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police: one being responsible for the City and the other is responsible for rural areas. A new RCMP station was constructed in 2002, amalgamating personnel from the City, Rural, and Highway Detachments.

Wetaskiwin & District Victim Services is now recruiting Advocates who want to Volunteer within their own community.  We are looking for committed and empathetic people who want to make a difference.

Victim Services Advocates are men and women over the age of 18, from all cultural backgrounds.

Advocates work directly with victims of crime and trauma.  They provide court support, emotional and practical support, information and referrals.

Training is provided.

Think about the difference you can make in someone’s life.

Must have a clear criminal record, be over 18 and have a valid driver’s license.
