Poppy-WEB.jpg
Did you know? Canadians recognize Remembrance Day, originally called Armistice Day, every November 11th at 11 am. It marks the end of hostilities during the First World War and an opportunity to recall all those who have served in the nation’s defense.

Ceremony
This year’s ceremony will begin at 10:30 am sharp at the Wetaskiwin Drill Hall (4513 - 50 Ave) on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Please come early in order to find a seat, as the Drill Hall usually fills to standing room only.

An Open House at the Legion (5003 - 52 Avenue) will follow the ceremony. All are welcome.
