[ARCHIVED] Snow removal continues Wednesday

UPDATE 2: Repairs have been completed and snow removal will continue Wednesday, March 8 with the route listed below.

UPDATE 1: Due to mechanical issues, snow removal planned for Tuesday, March 7 has been CANCELLED.

City crews will be hitting the road to perform residential snow removal beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7.

Streets to be cleared are:

  • Garnet Crescent
  • Garwood Drive
  • Garwood Crescent

Parking enforcement will be taking place. Be sure to remove your vehicle before 7 a.m. to avoid being ticketed and please give workers the space to operate safely.

Please note: snow removal information is shared on the City's website and social media channels as the schedule is finalized. All snow removal work is dependent on several factors, including staffing, equipment, and weather. If you want to know when your area is scheduled for snow removal, please sign up for Notify Me (wetaskiwin.ca/list.aspx) to receive text or email notifications as soon as the information is published.
